Living Lore

The Underworld of memory, meaning, and identity

Enter the underworld of your own story

Before we had language for who we were, we were already forming identity through story.

Throughout our lives, we are shaped by bedtime tales, childhood films, books, cult classics, music, theater, and the characters we return to again and again. These stories become part of an internal mythology that continues to influence how we see ourselves and how we move through the world.

Fairy tales, fables, Grimm tales, and scary stories told by the fire aren’t just lore. They’re symbolic maps of transformation, reflecting inner experiences of identity, fear, and becoming that speak to us as children, and whisper across our memories long after we outgrow them.

Living Lore is a guided workshop designed to bring awareness to the personal stories and archetypes that have shaped your life, and to illuminate how they continue to influence your choices today.

We’ll work with myths and stories such as Scheherazade, the Descent of Inanna, Vasilisa the Beautiful, Little Red Riding Hood, Medusa, and Baba Yaga, along with many others, using them as symbolic maps of transformation, identity, fear, and becoming.

We will explore:

  • The characters you once identified with, and what they represented for you

  • The emotional patterns encoded in your earliest stories

  • How your relationship to love, power, and safety has changed over time

  • The versions of yourself you have outgrown, and the ones still active beneath the surface

  • The personal myth you are currently living inside

  • Which heroes, heroines (or villains) you favor, and how those archetypal energies show up in your daily life

This workshop is a reflective, guided experience designed to support self-awareness and narrative clarity. It is not about judging past interpretations of stories, but about understanding how the meaning of your own personal myth evolves.

We’re not just shaped by stories.

We are Living Lore.
